4X0T: Nice to be again in WAE contest. But very very bad conditions. Tnx to everyone who help me installing the station in Masada N. Park Dead Sea.
9H3MIR: It was a pleasure to give out the 9H multiplier. Too bad the 14 MHz band was not available for long when other expedition participants did wish to operate there. This weekend we were preparing the antennas for our 4 weeks operation so no full set working yet.
9M2/GM4YXI: First WAE from the DX side. I Was on a one night DXpedition to Pulau Ketam AS-074 for IOTA hunters and realised the contest was on! Lots of software problems and apologies to lots of guys who called me and I could not read well enough for a QSO. The local electrical QRN/QRM at this QTH was absolutely terrible. At times s9 on the FT900 meter on 20m band. Power out 100W. Antenna homebrew vertical for 15/17 and 20m. See GM7V.com for AS-074 info.
9M6A: Poor condx & amp; low power does not help to work only EU from this part of the world.
A45WD: WAEDC remains one of the most attractive contest. It was funny I enjoyed the EU pile-ups and the QTC traffic. See you in WAE-RTTY ! Alex, A45WD-YO9HP
CE4PBB: Very very very bad Condition, in my 16 years in Contests, never I have big bad propagation.... see you the next year, but with best condition, CE4PBB "Rob"
CT7T: No comment on the propagation!
DA0T: Station was ready and all antennas were up but than the condx faded away due to a xflare on the sun....WX was fine so we had some nice barbecue ! Cu next year !
DB1RLE: Mit meiner kleinen Ausrstung eine Katastrophe.
DH3MAY: dabeisein ist alles... nur nix bertreiben, hi.
DH6DAO: no chance with wire-ant and 100W due to propagation.
DJ9MT: Please remember LP doesn't mean < HP. LP >= 100W! Thanks. Good contest. Lot of fun working only dx, outside eu.
DK0MN: No DX-Cluster used
DK0SC: Very poor conditions, only chance for the BIG GUNs!
DK3W: WAE is always a great competition - this year especially because the bad conditions. We doubled our effords and earned the half of our result in last year. It seams WAE-SSB reached the solar minimum two years earlear. Next year will be better.
DL0BO/P: Selten solch schlechte Ausbreitungsbedingungen beim Kontest erlebt.
DL1ARD: bad condx
DL1BUG: Mein erster "Schnupperkurs" im SSB-Teil. Die condx waren leider nicht sehr einladend.
DL1DAW: I really enjoyed my new vertical for 40 & 80m but the bad condx limited my fun and success. I couldn't repeat my good result from last year but I don't give up and I look forward in working the contest next year with hopefully better con dx.
DL2OBO: Gaaaanz miese Bedingungen
DL7PP: Training QTC Traffic. Next Year the Excercise is over!
DL8FP: Poor condx.
DL8URJ: Leider sehr schlechte Ausbreitungs-Bedingungen. Schade.
DM5A: Alles kam zusammen: Antennenprobleme, Gewitter, schlechte , Ausbreitungsbedingungen.
DP7A: Bavarian Contest Club - unfortunately my radio left me after 2 hours of operation...
DR0T: Just a few minutes contest after neighbour gave a phone call....GRRR. Condx awfull. Next time better and without TVI hopefully.
DR1R: Last WAE in LP !

GW7X: YK1RC CALLED ME, I WORKED HIM, BUT WHEN HE LATER ASKED IF I WANTED QTCs I DECLINED THE OFFER AS HE SOUNDED LIKE A PIRATE - MY APOLOGIES IF HE WAS GENUINE!
HA3NU: After cw part I thought it couldn't be worse the condition. I was wrong...
HA80IARU: We have heard when UU7J same time running on two bands / 40 and 80m / on sunday at 20-21 UTC. Is this a new category?
IK2MPR: NOT USED THE PACKET CLUSTER

IZ8EDL: good contest see next year
IZ8GNR: difficult with dipoles i will try 2006 again
JA1AAT: 15m 10m condx poor JA-EU. 20m band open JA time midnight only stations contact. Look for next contest high band 10m.
JA9SCB/1: Bad propagation on 10 & 15m from JA. No work was made on 10m. I expect next year and early turn up of the next solar cycle.
K1BV: Poor conditions on Saturday and terrible on Sunday.

OH0PM: Beautiful aurora on Saturday night when the sky was clear.Lowest ever rate qso/hour, but I tried hard with the stacks on rotating towers. See you next year again. I hope that once in life time the world space wx turns upside down and stations more than 60 deg North have the best propagation.

OK2SWD: Very good Contest and perfect DX operators. My age 67. I hope to meet you next year dear friends.

ONL383: Just five words: desastrous propagation.
PA0LRK: Poor conditions, so I was happy to make at least some QSOs in the SSB part too!
PS2T: THE PROPAGATION WAS VERY POOR. PROBABLY THE WORST WAEDC PROPAGATION ON ALL MY CONTEST LIFE 73 OMS PY5EG
RV3NA: Tnx for Contest!
S57DX: LOW POWER THIS TIME! THE WORST CONDX IN MY 30+ YEARS ON THE BANDS. BAD PROPAGATIONS AND 100 W - THAT WAS A BIG TEST FOR MY PATIENCE. WORKED AH6JN/4-HE WAS IN STATES SO I LOG HIM AS AH6JN/W4 BECAUSE OF CORRECT MPL.

UU7J: First time ever such a bad CONDX! Tnx for nice Contest anyway!
VA3PL: I think this was a contest of the worst propagation I ever experienced in my 40 years of amateur radio and in contesting. Only weak signals from Europe were of those European big guns. Thanks to their receiving capability to pick up my weak 100w/tribander signal. They even managed to RX my QTC 222s. No other signals from 100 watts and tribanders European second layer stations at all. The weak signals were coming and going. This was a contest, which also test my patience as well. The signals were better the first day. If you miss those short openings the first day you loose because almost no signals were present the second day. Never the less I have had a great fun as always. Attached is my picture. GL to all Andy 226 VA3PL
VE3XD: First WAE was in 1998. Each year since I have increased my score until this one which was the worst I have ever done. Hopefully conditions will be better next time.
