3Z6V: WAE 1981 1984 1985 1986 1987 1988 1989 1990 1992 1993 1994 1996 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 = 19 x WAEDC

4X0T: Very bad condition, but happy to be again in this contest.

9U6PM: TS450 LOG PERIODIC 80 WATTS

9Y4ZC: No condx on 10 mtrs spoiled the score significantly as well as poor condx on 80 mtrs. Otherwise i had a lot of fun running this contest SOAB for the first time. Will try to do better next year.

A45WG: Nice contest. Likes the QTC's once I got used to them. A good measure of opertor skill - should be used more. Qsl via QRZ.COM instructions.

AK1Q: Thanks for organizing this contest. The sample SSB QTCs on the DARC web site were very helpful.

AT0D: NO GOOD PROPAGATION THIS YEAR ON 20M TRX homemade 50w ant delta

D4B: Thank you for great contest

DF6WE: Had not enough time and Power: only FT817+PA 50Wtts

DJ1CW: In this year better propogation, also many DX station. Many tnx for all who haved QSO whis my station.

DJ1OJ: ONLY FEW HOURS OF OPERATION ON SUNDAY EVENING, BETTER THAN NOTHING.

DJ6TK: SSB is not my Mode

DK8RE: Hatte leider wenig Zeit.

DL0QS: Tolle CONDX.

DL1GNM: Fair conds, not much time to operate. I used only a R7 vertical antenna.

DL6OAK: 1st participation in WAEDC.

DL8NCR: Some problems with the computer, hang, change time and band. Good team, many points and have a lot of fun. Hear you next year.

EA5DFV: Always a great contest, I like QTCs more and more.

EA6EA: My station is QRP. My antenna is 5/8 vertical for 10m.

EI4CF: Bands were in great condition. Will have to improve my typing for the qtcs next year.

F6FTB: rig is the K2 from elecraft + 80 watts ; antenna is a 2x20 m doublet 183 qtc ; 111 qso ; 108 multi ; score= 40077

G3RSD: I was surprised and pleased to find such good condx.

G4GOY: No dx spotting used

G4NXG/M: My first ever mobile contact with Zone 18 on 80 metres was the highlight of the weekend.

GM4AGG: Our sincere congratulations with the 50th years anniversary!

GW7X: ONE MORE YEAR TO QUALIFY FOR SPECIAL PLAQUE (TOP-TEN LIST FOR AT LEAST FIVE TIMES) - CU IN 2005!

HK3SGP: This is my first WAE contest, it´s very interesting. I try working in RTTY the next November.

HS1PDY: It could have been better if there was no rain during contest. Still have a lot of fun. See you next year.

I1COB: Good Contest!!! Big station with big number!!!

IK2AIT: GOOD CONTEST, I AM SHY WITH QTC, MY TR PROGRAM IS OLD. WILL TRY NEXT YEAR

IK5WQO: Thank you very much for this opportunity, i'll partecipate at next editions with much pleasure and, i hope, with better antenna conditions: i am using just an indoor multiband dipole...

IR2V: WAEDC: Happy 50th anniversary! And thank you DARC Contest Committee! Glad to be in, also in the SSB part, to celebrate! QTC's are a lot better in SSB than in CW, but that's another story! Cu next one.

JA2MWV: ANT: 14mH 4ELE YAGI RIG: FT-107 PWR: <5w QRP

JA3YBK: Part time effort at that time. CU in the next contest. :-)

JA9SCB/1: Nice 15m's propagation this year on the saturday. But no contact on 10m. Any way, congratulations on the WAEDX 50th anniversary. See you also next year with fine QSOs and smart QTC exchanges!

JF2FIU: Thank you!

JQ2EHG: It was a good condition except 28M.

JR4PMX/1: Condx was not so good on Sunday when I QRVed, but I enjoyed the contest.

K0DAT: Friday local time I had surgery; was in pain but did get to operate some of the contest.

K4SV: I worked for two days using only a 3 element Mosley Mini 33 and a 100W to make 100 QSO's. Until my new antennas go up I am using only this antenna.

K4YKZ: No sleep deprivation for this year's WAE contest. HI. Here on Echo Mountain, 40m was poor, 80m & 10m NIL, but 15m was hot!

K6ST: Lots of fun, some short band openings yet good!

K9JS: Fun contest, one of my favorites. Thanks to the sponsers and for all the Q's.

KD4D: Thanks again to John Evans, N3HBX, for the use of his fine station. WAE is my favorite contest! I was something of an alligator on 80...sorry to everyone I couldn't copy through the noise.

KF9YR: Had fun in your contest.

KP4JRS: See you next WAE SSB.

KQ2M: First time in about 15 years that I was able to operate this contest seriously. What a GREAT contest! Great activity and lots of fun. Breaking the US record WITHOUT 10 meters, was just the "Icing on the Cake"! Thanks for the all the qso's and qtc's.

LX7I: My first real full activity in this contest. Hopefully I can SO2R next year this will surely make it easyer to work multis. Real nice contest 73s de Philippe LX2AJ / LX7I

M4U: 10m disappointing propagation Great fun with QTCs as usual Good JA opening on Saturday - USA activity slightly down

MM0DFV: Couldn't manage to take full part in the contest. Hope to work full time next year! My sincere congratulations with the 50 years anniversary!

MU3GSY: My first entry for this contest Very good conditions

N1API: Lot of contacts but the multipliers were not there. 10 meters was NIL so the score suffered. I would like to see a class for operators who are only able to work 10, 15 and 20 meters.

N3RD: I wasn't planning a serious effort, but got caught up in the action. Conditions were excellent on 15m, but nothing here at all on 10m. On Saturday, I fixed my beverage RX antenna for Europe, and was able to make a good number of QSOs on 80m Saturday night. Congratulations to DARC for a great contest.

N8II: Condx were better than expected, unfortunately I did not have much time for the test. Condx were fabulous on 15 M Saturday from 13 Z til 15 Z; 10 M was open at same time which I missed except for 4 Germans. I managed to improve score from 200K to 250K in last 1/2 hour on 40/75 M.

ND2N/7: Contesting from the Northwest was a totally new experience to me. Thanks to Andrew W7VJ for rig and support.

NX9T: Lot's of fun...only got to put in about 1 hour...but hopefully more next year!

OL7R: worked only 14 hours, testing our new setup and antennas, Very nice conditions on 15m.See you next year.

ON4KVA: 73' ON ALL THE STATIONS. THE PROPAGATION NOT GOOD. MANY QRM. I WORK 2 BANDS (15 M AND 20 M) 12 STATIONS WITH 100 WATTS - 21 STATIONS WITH 50 WATTS.

ONL383: Not really a total effort from my side but I like to listen during this contest... propagation was not too bad although not at the top of course.

OZ1ADL: Lots of fun and good condx !

PA0IJM: A nice contest but I am time to time in trouble. My lin.ampl.be killed in action (hi) Good cond.on the 15 mtr.band direction Nrt.America.Have fun with the control of the incomming logs. Best '73 Jan PA0IJM

PA0KDM: condx below normal. Hope next year better. 81 year young hi.

PA0LRK: Nice that 21 MHz was open again like in the CW contest, so I could make some QSOs in the SSB contest too for the first time.

PA0MIR: Pleased to beat my 2002 record this time. 10 M was limited but a lot of low band multi's made the difference.

PA1V: During the first day FB propagation! Bands were great cuagn next year

PA7RA: hope this log is oke this is mine first WAe test and the QTC are erry difficult for me hi. But I'm log with Writelog and this programm is great but only discover how I'm must give qtc away. now I'm only receive oke if there are things that is not good pse let me now because I'm can only learn from comments. thanks and I'n going to try to work in the WAE CW and WAE RTTY test 73" de PA7RA Rien

PE2KP: It's a very nice contest for DXCC work.

PJ2P: Uli and I had a very good time here at the PJ2T station We left DL on early Thursday morning arriving in Curacao 15 hours later. Friday morning I gave Uli a brief island tour as I had visited Curacao last year for the WWDX RTTY contest and we will leave again for DL today. So that would make around 30 hours of travelling and about 40 hours of operating in the contest, not too bad ;-). We have seen many stations over the year but this one is for sure the most sophisticated when it comes to go down here and just operate. In fact we might have taken also a flight one day later arriving here 2 hours b4 the contest without any problem (ok, Uli than would have had no clue how Curacao is like :- 10m opened for some time on Sunday but openings were very short and there was very deep QSB. We had BIG fun down here. Thanks for working us and see you soon again.

PY7GK: Very glad to join in this issue of WAE 2004 Contest. Good band

R3A-847: Receiver 17 tubes; antenna Inverted Vee

S59GMA: JUST GIVE OUT SOME POINTS!

SM6WET: Not really in for the competition but worked a few stations here and there.

SM7BJW: Good conditions, even 10 m was open shortly to PY/LU. QTC receving is fun but takes time and good ears. Made higher score this year despite less working hours. I´m content. Will be back in november for the RTTY part. Looking forward to hand over QTCs both ways.

SP4PBI: Thanks for contest Good Luck

SP5XOV: General DX Log

T92M: I had very bad conditions on 80 and 40 . Tnx, see you next year. 73

TI2KAC: Nice contest, the most interesting...see you next year. 73 Carlos.

UA3LHL: TNX FOR VERY-VERY NICE CONTEST!!!

UV7M: Good Contest!

VE3XAT: Had lots of fun! I wish the bands would have been a little better.

VK6DXI: Operation in a limited time only. Will try to make it full time next year. Congratulations to DARC for the contest anniversary. Well done. Great and unique contest principle. Never change the QTC system.

VK6NU: Nice to work some Europeans, very quiet here in VK. The Europeans were not getting many calls, surprising. I don't like the QTC system. Very limited time.

W1CSM: Nice contest. Wish I had more time this weekend. 73 Bruce W1CSM

W1ZM: Tnx to Jerry and Ellie for again hosting my visit. Not as dominant as in the 70's and 80's, W1ZM still a great place to operate from, even SO1R, no packet, TH7 and wires. Jerry celebrates his 90th birthday this year - still going strong!!

W2FB: First time entry, will be back next year with electronic logging. Only 3 hours of operation.

W2UP: Great contest. It takes a lot to get me to operate SSB, but great condx (except no 10m) and overall, great ops. Very few "last two letters." I didn't expect to put in more than a few hours, so never set up voice keyer. Also wx was too nice for contesting. I did a triathlon - operated contest, bicycled 40 km, operated more, then swam 1 km, both days.

W3DOS: Had fun just wish the log periodic antenna could have been used.

W9ILY: THANKS FOR ANOTHER FINE CONTEST. SSB FROM THE 'BLACK HOLE' OF THE USA MIDWEST IS REALLY TOUGH USING LOW POWER.

WP4BL: This was my first Contest since i got my license in May 2004. Best 73 Nestor.

WX3B: What a GREAT 15 meter opening! Also heard from W0YR that 10 meters was good on Saturday morning but I missed it. Looking forward to CQWW in October. 73, Jim WX3B
