4X6UO: RTTY by WF1B Software v5

5B4AHA: Excellent contest as usual guys. Thanks to all for running it. It still amazes me how many participants do not Tx and Rx Qtc's with the amount of free software available. CU next year.

7L3IUE: It was poor in 10m Band this season.

7N2UQC: I could enjoy the wonderful contest.

7S6N: No packet cluster within reach. Peculiar conditions here. Very few JAs and NAs on 10 and 15m. Frustrating to hear central EU stations with nice runs in those directions. The last hour on Sunday on 20m brought some excellent signals from W6,W7, VE7. Didn`t even manage to send QTCs for the QSOs I made. Will be back next year.. .

AD6WL: Could only work the last of hour of the contest.

CT1AOZ: TOO BUZY ALL THE WEEKEND.HOPE TO BE BETER NEXT YEAR. BTW ANOTHER GOOD CONTEST...

DE2ROB: DE2ROB - 14 Jahre alt!

DK1RF: FIRST WAE DX IN RTTY,VIEL SPASS GEMACHT, NÄCHSTES JAHR WIEDER, MIT HOPEFULLY MORE POINTS.

DL1THB: Danke für den Contest.

DL3AMA: Mit etwas Power kann man auch mal CQ rufen.... Hat mir viel Spass gemacht!!!

DL6JZ: A lot of fun again. My first RTTY contest with packet cluster assistance. I think so I got the one or other mult more than without packet. But not enough QTC's this year. I believe that I spent to much time on 80/40 instead of 20/15. See you next year again.

DP1POL: I only had very limited time for the contest, as there was a major event at Neumayer Station, Antarctica, on the WAEDC RTTY weekend: the first plane arrived after a long Antarctic winter of seven months with no visitors! Everyone at the station was very much looking forward to that. On Sunday, two Russian AN2 aircrafts landed safely at Neumayer airstrip and brought three summer guests, fresh fruit and vegetables, and mail from our families. As everyone here was involved in one way or another with this highlight which marked the beginning of the summer season, I could only operate the contest a few hours during both nights. This is why only two European stations made it into my log. QTCs are great fun, and I wish more stations would play that game.

EA8/ON4AXU: I REALLY ENJOYED SPENDING 2 OF MY 7 DAYS HOLIDAYS ON TENERIFE ISLAND IN THE wae rtty CONTEST AND I SURELY WILL PARTICIPATE NEXT YEAR AGAIN.

ES4MM: I worked last one in WAEDC RTTY at 1998 years. Now again to participate in WAEDX RTTY CONTEST. HI and sorry, but I have no programme to QTC ! Thanks WAEDC Committee for excellent CONTEST! THANKS FOR MY FAVORITE CONTEST !73! ALEX

F5CQ: FT-1000MP-Mark 5 - GPA-30 - G5RV

F5RD: A good contest, I improve a little bit my 2002 score and I QSO 2 new countries (A22 and UK8). Thanks to all who contact me See you again next year

F6IRF: IC706+ HOMEBREW 2x4CX250 PA - 400W ANTS: DIPOLE 40/80 AT 18M AGL - OB6-3M TRIBANDER AT 12M AGL MIXW2.10 - MMTTY 1.65 > LOG/QTC'S IMPORTED IN WRITELOG 10.41 FOR CABRILLO CREATION No DX-cluster or any kind of external assistance. The world may also be divided in 2 by the ones who love QTC's and the ones who don't !!! My first serious attempt with my modest "domestic station". I really enjoyed this contest, for it's originality and the place made to the strategy (unlike a CQWW). The QTC business is really fun although I had some problems with mixW (the contest DLL has still some serious bugs, but I love so much the "advanced waterfall" for S&P. Could have done better with off-time management, but had to be off for F vs EI in the Rugby world cup, so missed the JA window on 10m. Heard a few JA's between the match 2 halves, but they were rare on the air anyway (due to their SSB contest, I guess). 40m has been my best band, and 20m my worst (NA window far too short from S.E. France) - Propagation wise the 10m has been surprisingly good with NA (just missed W7 and the west-most VE's). Like many EU's I have been unable to break ZF2NT NA pile-up (WAE-TTY rule drawback) on 80, but transatlantic condx remained poor on 80 anyway, so I focused on 40... In brief I have just been missing a few more QTC'ers for more points and fun.

GM8OEG: First time ever on rtty, installed the software on friday evening before the contest - had to learn to drive it on the job! What fun, this certainly won't be my last rtty contest!

GU0SUP: Great fun as always, and I really enjoy the QTC. I now have an inverted L antenna for 80m, so this helped my score. I was very pleased to work VK6HD on 80m with this antenna. My thanks to all at DARC for this event.

IZ4DZD: CONTROL LOG

JA1BWA: The "QTC" rule is very unique and interesting.

JA2FSM: This contest was in good condition, so that I could enjoy the wonderful contest.

JA2KCY: This contest was in good condition, so that I could enjoy the wonderful contest. I didn't use any assist, any spotting nets.

JA5JWQ: This contest was in not good condition, but that I could enjoy the wonderful contest.

JA6-9330/1: I really enjoyed my first SWL participation in an RTTY contest.

JH1TUX: This contest was in good condition, so that I could enjoy the wonderful contest.

JM1NKT: This contest was in good condition, so that I could enjoy the wonderful contest.

K0FJ: Very little EU on Sunday. The QTCs make this an interesting, different contest. BJ increased power on 10M then smelled something 'hot'. Turned out to be FJ's turkey in the oven for the church Thanksgiving dinner. If you must have a false alarm, it should always be as pleasant......

K0HW: Bad scheduling on my part caused me to miss both openings to Europe! I will do better planning next Year! Thank You for the contest, I will try with proper planning to get all my QTC sent next year also!

K3WW: Some errors in QTC copying..hope enough QSOs to help the Europeans in the contest.

K4DJG: My first SOLO RTTY contest. I had a ball for the limited time I had.

K4SV: Had a good time. 10 meters was open both days. This year I exchanged 850 QTC's to get lots of points. Heard very few stateside being serious about working the contest. Nice to see old friends on the air.

K6OWL: I love those QTC's!

K9JS: no packet

K9OSH: FIRST USE OF WRITELOG/MMTTY. GREAT TIME CLIMBING THE LEARNING CURVE!

KH6GMP: ICOM IC-756Pro, C3S Force 12 yagi on rooftop tower, 60w Writelog with MMTTY plugin

KS0M: I had just a few hours to work this contest. It was a lot of fun. Sorry that I did not make very many contacts. The start of the contest was during my 60th wedding anniversary and I had other things to do besides work a contest. This was my first attempt at sending and receiving QTC's. I still have not mastered the receiveing very good yet. But I was more comfortable sending. Thanks for sponsoring the contest.

LX9SW: Had a lot of fun for my first participation on this contest. I must stopped in the early sunday evening for QRL reasons. Next year I think I take holidays :-

N1MGO: Great fun, love the format! Propagation was different, but interesting. No spotting nets used.

N2WK: Very layed back effort this year! To many other activities going on so I concentrated on 40/80 meters in the evening hours.

OH2BP: SO2R operation. Don't like much about the QTC's.

OK2-9329: Very good Contest and perfect DX and EU operators.

ON4ADZ: This is my third log after a ssb and cw participation.

ONL383: A lot of problems with the decoder the Saturday. The I have taken the decision to be active relax the Sunday. Good activity but poor condx!

OZ8ABE: I hope you can use a checklog. I'm not a contester, so if some of the serial numbers are wrong it's me to blame. 73's de Bo oz8abe

TA2ZF: SORRY ABOUTH QTC NUMBERS,BUT MIXW PROGRAM DONE A LOT OF MISTAKES IN QTC. SORRY ABOUTH THAT. NICE CONTEST, I LIKE QTC VERY MUCH AND ACTIVITY IS GROWING UP FROM YEAR TO YEAR. SEE YOU IN NEXT YEAR, TA2ZF (M0SDX,UT5UDX).

TF3AO: Tough Condx and lot of time calling CQ without any results. I don't use Packet or Cluster, but can see it makes a difference to be put on Cluster.

UA0WL: My 1-st RTTY WAE....

UT1IWA: 73! RTTY by WF1B Software v5

VA3DX: Had a great success with the qtcs., easy to do . Conditions went from poor to terrific at times. This is becoming a favorite contest for me.

VA3XRZ: Due to a program crash I lost the QTC series # received from 9A5W as well as one complete QTC in the series and the suffix of an RA3 station.

VE2OWL: I'm not sure of my score, but it's not that important as it was a nice contest, with friendly operators.

VE3GSI: Great contest. It is a lot of fun sending and receiving the QTCs.

VE3NZ: QTH and STATION @ VE3NE

VE3XD: Limited time to operate this one due to the first grandaughter's baptism and a celebration of the in-laws 65th anniversary. Fun to operate WAE Rtty when I was able. Thanks to all for the Qs and QTCs.

W0YR/4: Thanks to Hurricane Isabel, no 80M antennas! Still had a lot of fun. I wish some ops would NOT send the contest exchange before they are answered. It just makes QRM. Vielen Dank fuer eine ausgezeichnet contest!!!

W1TO: I HAD A FEW LOGGING PROBLEMS, SORRY IF I MESSED SOMEONE UP.

W3FV: This is always a fun contest - Writelog makes handling the QTC's so easy!

W3MEL: Very good contest. Made some nice contacts. Looking forward to next time.

W4UK: wire dipoles only

W5TZN: RTTY by WF1B Software v5

W7DPW: GREAT CONTEST. Poor Band Conditions Here. Not Much Time to Operate.

W8XC: Wish bands had cooperated more.

W9HLY: Enjoyable contest - in spite of all the negative anti-QTC comments heard/seen on the internet from .02% of the contestants of which 85% of those didn't join in the contest.

W9ILY: Always a fun contest! Sunday condx were very disappointing.

WB6BWZ/4: http://www.darc.de/referate/dx/xedcwr.htm My first WAE RTTY contest. (Spotting nets NOT used.) Best DX: ZL2AMI, my only 10M QSO, 08/2152z. (8100 mi, 1620 mi/watt) WAC: 3 (NA, SA, OC) DXCC: 9 unique (CM, HR, K, PY, VE, XE, YV, ZF, ZL) Yaesu FT-817 QRP xcvr. 5 watts into a 5-MHz OCF 28-gauge insulated wire stealth antenna up 40 feet in trees next to I-75 in downtown Atlanta industrial area. SGC SG-237 autotuner. Tigertronics SignaLink SL-1 sound card interface. WriteLog 10.42c with Rittyrite, no CAT interface.

XE1RCQ: FIRST CONTEST PARTICIPATION. 73

XE1ZVO: THIS IS A GREAT CONTEST, I HAVE 3 YEARS WORKING IT 73 TO ALL !

YC2ECG: This is my second WAEDC RTTY contest, much better than WAEDC RTTY 2002. Sorry for NO QTC. See you next year for better conditions.

YO3JF: The most exiting RTTY contest! Unfortunately poor condx, mainly the first day.

Z31MM: Same problem as last year with write log. We louse again abt ZL2AMI: The disturbed propagation presented a challenge. I was delighted to achieve a small increase on last years score. Thanks for another great contest.

ZL2BR: A very enjoyable contest. But please change band weighting multiplier. Countries and Call Areas very close to each other in Europe and North America can very easy make many contacts on 80m an 40m. But here in the Pacific Ocean we have only VK, ZL and FO, and lots and lots of Pacific Ocean water for 10,000km radius. The WAE RTTY rules are not equal for all. WAE CW and SSB rules are okay! Thank you.
